Azure Corporate Hub is the new global headquarters of a leading technology firm, occupying four floors of a landmark tower in Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla Complex. The brief was unambiguous: create a workplace that attracts and retains global talent, embodies the company's innovation culture, and provides a range of working environments suited to both focused individual work and large-scale collaborative sessions.
Discuss a Similar ProjectThe base building offered large, undifferentiated floor plates with a structural grid that did not align with the required variety of spatial types. Integrating biophilic design elements — a core client ambition — within a fully air-conditioned, sealed tower posed significant technical challenges. Budget pressure also required careful prioritization of where investment would have the greatest impact.
We developed a 'workplace landscape' concept — treating each floor as a distinct terrain with different working characters. Floor 12 is a forest: dense planting, timber, and diffuse lighting create a contemplative zone for focused work. Floor 13 is a plaza: open, social, and animated. Floors 14–15 combine executive suites, boardrooms, and client entertainment spaces. A central atrium stair connects all four floors, creating spontaneous interaction while ensuring wayfinding is intuitive.
